The Iris and Frank Sweaney Fund continues the legacy of Dr. Frank Sweaney and his wife Iris who were committed to supporting the children of Holt County. Dr. Sweaney was a physician in Holt County in the 1950's and Mrs. Sweaney served as Holt County collector during the 1970's. The fund helps Holt County children thrive through scholarships, planned programs, and financial support for special achievements. Recipients of the fund scholarships and grants must be attending one of the Holt County schools: Craig R-3, Mound City R-2, Nodaway Holt R-7, or South Holt R-1.
